You do though have way to many for a 20 gal tank. 2 common goldfish will get big enough that you really don't need any others in there. If you know someone with a pond or a large goldfish tank, you may just want to give the fish to them. The ones you keep will have a better chance if you reduce the stock now, rather than just letting the fish die off. Even small, 9 goldfish put out alot of waste and an uncycled tank can't hardly handle it. Good luck.

drfong,
Thank you for your input and advise. I got a second 20 gal. tank and I am in the process of starting the "Cycling Process" that I obtained from the forum.
Once ready I will do as you suggest "2 common goldfish" per tank only. I think I may have somewhere I can take the others. Thanks again for the suggestions (I do not want to hurt the lil guys"
Do you think I can add a few neon tetras or Fancy Tail Guppies with two Gold fish or should I just give the Goldfish away and start a Guppy and Tetra tank for my Grandchild?
Thanks again for all input and help, "Pop's"
