HELP! crab ID
I just bought 4 lbs of lr to add to my tank.. and low and behold.. when i opened up the box with the rock there was a crab.. his legs are white/orangy red striped.. and his claws are dark.. brownish orange... his head is brown.. then tapers back to white... i dont want to add him into my tank if he isnt reef safe.. i'm thinking he isnt..... any help would be great.. for now he's in a tupperware container..... lol

My lfs store has something for euthanizing aquatic life, I'm not sure what it's called or how it works I've never really checked it out.

Okay.. well gee.. i guess my hubby has to do something with it.. i don't have the heart...
i found another one.. yikes.. it's sooooooooo small I can hardly see it. but the legs are white.. and the shell/body is black/white stripe.. and help? i don't see any pics on that website..

maybe see if your lfs will take it. one lfs near me will take almost aanything off my hands for free ask if one of your lfs's if they would want it

80% of hitchiking crabs are going to be bad, best way is to freeze it in a tupperware container.
