a fish died
my powder blue jack dimpsey died and i dont know why. the tank has cycled its a big tank for him and he is the only on in there besides a pleco

Sorry about your loss Trust. I hate mysterious deaths.
Have you tested your water since your fish passed? This may help figure out the cause so that you can avoid it in the future.

Without any information on the tank other than a fish died it is impossible to help you.

fish aren't immortal. they die of unpreventable causes, don't beat youself up over it  it will be ok, my sympathies

hey sorry i didnt get to reply in time but the water was normal i do a routine 25% water change with RO water and the tank has been cycled for a couple of months now

TRust-e-man,
You need to get the water parameters that can be determined from a typical test kit. If you do not have one the LFS will usually do a test for free. Water changes are good and important but if there is something going on in the water it will show up in the tests. Water changes will likely help most situations but they may not /will not fix them all.
