I don't come into this part of the forum very often, and did not see your post.
Without a skin scrape and a microscope, it is difficult to say it it is really Chilodonella. If however you do suspect a parasite, a salt bath is usually effective. I would use the same approach as if treating for ich.
IMO potassium permanganate is a chemical I do not want in my house, and copper is never safe. The salt should work fine if the parasite damage is not too extensive. You need to treat the tank anyway and be sure you kill all of it.
