I am curious though, I have polished stones in my tank that had been from some type of floral arrangement before this.

Bam!!! there's a hit. Mine were from one of those decorative indoor table top water features.

By the way guys I appreciate all the great advice, and I recognize the value of fast action in a situation like this, but I commute an hour to work both ways, so I leave in the morning before my LFS opens and return after it is closed. I have no way to sneak out during the day because I am a teacher and have a relatively busy schedule, and I simply don't trust someone else to do the shopping for me.

I just didn't want anyone to think I was being lazy...

I am removing the possibly troublesome rocks now...some of which may be thoroughly buried.
