lumpy mollies?

so i have this orange molly who was born in my tank, and is now an adult. she has always been a little lumpy since birth. but now i notice she seems to be getting lumpier. i noticed one of my other mollies had this pinkish lump thing poke out of her gill area this morning. any body know what this is?
any thoughts or ideas would be awesome.

hi there well sorry about your troubles but i can bet that the orange molly was deformed and now as she grows it will get worse there is no treatment i have a deformed dalmatian molly to its tail i pointing strait up but it is learning how to swim try puting a net under so if he will fall he will fall safly and about the growth there is one question had that fish had ick latly?

Based on the limited info I do not think there is enough data to offer a reasonable opinion. I do not quite follow what ffffrf is suggesting but if you can help us understand things a little better we may be able to offer a better opinion. Adding some detail regarding the setup, how long the tank has been operating, other fish, water parameters, and maybe a picture would be helpful. As you mention it may be a deformity of some sort but it could also be a number of diseases that cause these type symptoms.
