how many shrimp can i fit in a 20 gal
i have a 20 gallon tank with 2 false percula, 1 tomato, 1 firefish, 1 cleaner and 2 peppermint shrimps. I was wondering how many shrimps i can put in. ialso have a few polyps a sebae anemone and a mushroom coral.

I think what you have is enough, there might not be enough food for them to scavenge on.

If i put more food in, will I be able to put more shrimp? does adding shrimps add to my bioload? or it doesnt matter?

It wont matter on the bioload, adding more food you can do, but you have to be careful not too add too much. What other shrimp are you wanting to add?

Not a good idea on the coral banded, he might eat the other shrimp. Plus I think one skunk shrimp will be sufficient. You only have 2 fish in there for the cleaner shrimp to groom.

One of the most important rules in this hobby is...
you cant have evrything you want in one tank.
I would not add any more, what you have is sufficent. If you add more you will have to add food, if they do not eat all of what you add, you will have spikes which will kill all of them and if you dont add enough, they will starve abd start eating each other. I have a invert tank, maybe that is something you could look into if you want more.
