Hey guys,
I like to keep a record of my test results so that I can look back over the weeks and months of testing to get a general idea of how my parameters flucuate. This gives me an overall view of my tanks stability.
I started doing this by writing it all down on a piece of paper, but that got tiring keeping track of them all. So I set out and designed my own reef log using Microsoft Excel.
I have made a slimmed down version for you all to download and use if you like.
The log file features the ability to record 300 different test dates featuring results from Temp-Calcium for each date, as well as color indications when a parameter falls too low or rises too high. It also gives you the ability to set what 'too low' or 'too high' is. There is also a page with nifty aquarium calculators that I designed into the logbook to help with conversions, or just to experiment with numbers.
This first version attached to this thread is for Saltwater tanks but with a few adjustments (which I will take care of in the next day or so) I will have it available for you Freshwater guys and gals as well.
If you have any comments or questions please feel free to PM me.
The log requires Microsoft Excel in order to be used. It was created using Excel 2003 and might have difficulty working in early versions (before '98) but let me know if you have any trouble.
Well, it looks like Excel files are not valid files for uploading here. I have made the logfile available for download from my website instead. Click the link below to download it.
