Skimmer Question
Should i keep the valve on my skimmer open or closed? Are bubbles good or bad? Doesn't really say on instruction sheet. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Bubbles will not hurt anything, they are just unsightly. As far as your valve I have no idea about seaclones.

hey fishobsessed! I use one and I am constantly changing mine up. Open when I want to skim and closed when I am purging the system out. You shouldn`t get too many bubbles in your tank . Although it really doesn`t hurt anything.

you just want to make sure there is no air bubble in your tubing. my skimmer has a J part that hangs over the tank and its always getting an air bubble which makes the skimmer not function properly.
