Unidentified black fungus on guppies

It can disappear at night but grows back within a few minutes of having a 15 watt bulb on. Have live plants which are probably the culprit. Have tried Melafix antibacterial fish remedy, Mardel Coppersafe, some yellow stuff that turned the tank yellow that supposedly kills all fungus…. Fish seem fine just covered in this black brush color. Just added five more fish two days ago and they already are showing signs of having the fungus. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Inclucde the medications you have tried, and duration of treatment.

Include your basis for a diagnosis of fungus.

As for plants... the ones in the picture are Dracnea (sp.). They are not a submersible aquatic plant. They will go into decline and start you off on a first class algae farm.

I cannot see a fungus growth in the picture provided.

Sorry I could not tell anything from the pic but my bigger question is why would you add more fish to a tank that has problems instead of researching to resolve the issue first?
