Judge has given you all of the best advice I can think of already, I just wanted to chime in and say I've been in a very similar situation. I had a 29g with a good chip on the bottom corner and I did just as what Judge has recommended. After giving it a test fill I patched it up with some silicone I got from Petco. I used the tank for well over a year without any problems. Of course your tank is much larger and there for the pressure on the chipped area will be much greater than on a 29. We'll have to wait and see once the pics are posted. Hopefully it will be okay!
