Can you help me with some questions?

i have a 50 gallon tank with 2 green terrors 2 red devils and 2 texas cichlids

i recently noticed the 2 reddevils have either abunch of little bubbles all over their body or its ick starting im not sure tho cant tell if its bubbles or its white spots can anyone help me out with this?

and for some reason they spend alost all there tie in the back corner by the filter and heater is there any reason for this?

Hi Censored and welcome..it would help to have some pics of this. I do not typically think of Ich as being "bubbles" but more white spots. More info on the tank would also help. Are any of these fish new to the tank? How long has this tank been up and do you have a quarantine tank?

i dont have any pics ='( but i had the tank up doing the cycling for like 2 weeks then i added the 2 red devils and 2 texas cichlids had them in there for 3 or 4 days they seemed to be doing fine then i found the green terrors i wanted and bought them had the in the tank doing fine for for like 5 days then i did a water change with treated water cuz they ate my pleco ='( then i noticed the ick 2 days after the water change. im thinking it can from the feeders i was giving them but i dont know and no i dont got a quarantine tank

Doesn't sound like things are going to smoothly for your 50g. Cycling a tank usually takes longer than two weeks, so that may be causing some stress for your cichlids, having to deal with toxic chemicals like ammonia and nitrite. How did you cycle the tank, with fish or without? How big are these cichlids? I can tell you right now that there is no way that all of these fish will coexist within this 50 gallon tank. You will have aggression problems and they will be very serious. It may take some time, as the fish might need to mature, but eventually all of these fish will need to be kept in a 50 to 75 gallon tank, either as a single cichlid, or possibly a mated pair (breeding male and female).

Although I sometimes see little bubbles all over the tank directly after a water change, if you've been noticing them specifically on your fish there is a very good chance that is Ich you are dealing with. It could be a result of the tank not being fully cycled (stress can weaken their immune system making them more susceptible to illness) or like you mentioned it could easily come from feeding them store bought feeding fish. They don't need to be fed live fish, but I know people who breed small liver bearers like guppies to use as their feeder fish. At least then they can be more confident that they're healthy.

It's always a good idea to have a quarantine tank, but since ich can spread so quickly you might as well treat the entire tank.
