Re: Gold Ram not feeling so well
I have a 30 gallon long with 2 small gold rams, 1 German blue (1 died), 7 rummy nose tetras, 1 little pleco, 1 other algae eater, and 2 cory cats, and my friend gave me 2 of his tetras (he's changing it to a saltwater tank). My parameters are good ph is between 7.5 and 8.5, ammonia is 0, nitrites <0.3 - 0.3, temp holds at 82 F, and my water changes are close to on time. The tank had been running since the begining of February.I would say the ram has been losing color for a couple of days. I first thought something was wrong when I noticed the tail fin wasn't fully spread verticle and that was about a week ago. All the fish a really young none bigger than 2.5 - 3.0 inches (1 of the algea eaters) . I hope to one day get a picture up I'm quite proud of this one. Oh I have had the fish now since the end of Feb. I feed them Tetra Tetracolor tropical crisps, and Tetra MicroCrabs cyclop-eeze granules. Thank you for the response I hope you can help.
