Answering my own question . . .
Everything's still alive and well in there. Perhaps it's because I've got some of the less-finicky species in there, but I can't help thinking I might have been lucky on this one.
Wait. Who's lucky -- me, or the fish?
I've got a good chromis this time around though; it likes to hide around the liverock when nobody's around.
The emerald crab, on the other hand, comes out quite frequently -- and I was told I'd probably not see that thing again as they're the types to burrow under everything.
Hermits are doing fine; they've each molted at least once so far. Snails are doing OK as well.
I usually do morning feedings with my 4-year-old son; he really gets a kick out of watching the fish dart around the tank.
