Moving, fish deal to make, near zanesville oh

Im moving to Fl on April 28, looking for someone near by that will take a 55 gal tank and 10 gal tank. everything with it, in exchange to send me my 2 Oscars whenn I get my other 55 gal tank set up. Will need to keep them in the 10 gal. Mr and Mrs Oscar can be sent overnight express, someone will know how thats done.???

Will you be driving in a car or truck along with the uhaul? The reason I ask, if you could drive straight through, it may be possible to just really lower the tank water and ride with them in the water. I work with a woman whose son did that. He had a 55 with an oscar, some cichlids and a pleco. He lowered the water level, put the tank in the back of his pickup and crossed several states......they all survived.

Very brave... I've seen half empty glass tanks break, simply from turning up strong wave makers. Something as simple as a pot-hole could crack a tank if there's much water. I'd hate to drench everything nearby inside the moving truck if the tank breaks.

The only time I've moved tanks & larger fish, I put the fish (three 8" koi, two 12" plecos, and one 18" pleco in my case) in plastic 5 gallon buckets with lids for the drive, and removed all water and substrate from the 125 gal. We temporarily set the tank back up in the garage at the new house until we could get the "final" room ready for the tank.
