My Other Pets
Allright. We know you have them.
Dogs, Cats, Horses, Hampsters, Rabbits and even Beanie Babies.
We all love and brag about our fish, so let's share some of those bragging rights with our other pets. Just a small photo and a brief description of their name(s) and why we love them too.
I'll begin with:
"Buster" our black/tan daschund whom we adopted almost 11 years ago has been the joy of our life. His stubborn nature is overshadowed by his wonderful disposition. And his little "jerky treats" legs are short enough that he can't jump on the couch. So if I want him on the couch, I'll put him there. That's my kind of dog!

Re: My Other Pets
This is our little "Marley". He's only 4lbs but he thinks hes about 40lbs! Marley is a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier and he loves being our vacuum cleaner.
This is our other dog, "Harley". She is 8 pounds and thinks she is muy bonita!! She is a Yorkie-poo (Yorkshire Terrier and a poodle) which is a great mix! Shes too pressy for 'dog activities'.

Re: My Other Pets
Geez, I am not sure where to begin! I guess I 'll start with the Aussies and 1 Border Collie.
Belle, Aggie, River
Bobbie
And then...Squeezy
Will have to get back to you on the cats!!
I cannot leave out my favorite, bottle raised spoiled rotten 20 pound BOB. Yep that's his real name. Had to tear out a wall in my house to rescue him.

Re: My Other Pets
Nah, he was only 3 weeks old when he fell in between the walls. His mom had a secret place she could access from outside my old victorian house. First time she lost here brood was in an outside wall, second time it was just Bob so IO became CPS and bottle fed him. Yes, he is a very big, well mostly boy, no claws either but he's got teeth and will use them if need be!

Awesome gm333!!! Great pics of your frogs and turtle! Where do you keep all of your cages/tanks within your house? Also, what do you think is your hardest cage/tank to maintain?

Re: My Other Pets
We have just started into the hobby of fish..
List is as follows for our 92 gallon:
3 Aquatic mini crabs - The 3 stooges
2 2 inch clown loaches - Dumb & Dumber
3 1 inch clown loaches - Dane Cook, Russel Peters & Luigi
2 baby yoyo loaches - Lilo & Stich
1 3 inch leapard loach - Leo
3 2 inch black fin sharks - Fo, Man & Chu
2 2 inch Balas - Soggy bottom boys
2 3 inch Balas - Soggy bottom boys
1 5 inch Bala - Jaws
2 6 inch placotumus - Deniro & Pachino
1 2 ince Placostumus - Pesi
1 1 inch Albino cory cat fish - Cory
1 2 inch spiny faced placotumus - Spike
1 2 inch male yellow lab - Huey
5 inch female yellow labs - Dewey & Lewey & The x-wives club
1 1 inch red eyed tetra - Stoner
1 1/2 inch red eyed tetra - Stonette
1 4 inch angry red tailed albino shark - Big Red
The larger fish came with the tank - We had to donate the original placutomues (Brando) to the pet store as he was about 6pds and 13 inchs long. This tank is 'for now' till we bulid a HUGE custom made one for when all of our babies have grown.
55 Gallon terrarium:
7 baby female anoles - Ron Burgandy, Stumpy & the channel five news team
1 large male anole - Shaft
40 gallon terrarium:
1 baby hermit crab - Santa Claws
2 medium hermit crabs - Bananas & Big Brown
40 Gallon Fresh Water:
Setting it up for Big red & Leo our lepard loach and all of the mini crabs as we will be adding more.
10 Gallon Fish tank:
3 ugly gold fish that our 13 year old daughter begged us for her birthday as she can NOT add goldfish, even ugly ones, to our tank. lol
5 Gallon:
Our quarantine tank as we had a bad Ich break out when we added the black fin sharks to our big tank. From now on ALL fish will spend time in here first before being added! Lesson learned on our part.
And last but certainly NOT least. Our 11 month old Lab cross. Her name is Kitty and she is convinced she IS still a lap dog at 75pds.

The 135 gallon reef, 15 gallon nano, 47 gallon terrarium, and the 20 long tree frog tank are in the den. The 46 gallon turtle tank is in my bedroom. Each of my kids have a 2.5 gallon tank in thier rooms.
By far the hardest to care for is the reef tanks, but since they have matured the maintenance is not as bad as in the begining.

Re: My Other Pets
I applaud your hard work and devotion to this hobby. When I eventually have kids, I'm for sure stealing your idea of sticking nanos in all of the kids' rooms.
