Ich problems

Recently my fish started showing signs of ich. Ive done a water change and have treated the water with rid-ich. But today and over night my biggest goldfish changed. His eyes are white and puffy all around the edges. The actual eye isnt puffy or even white. Just the skin surrounding the eye is swollen kinda cloudy/white and puffy.

What can i do to help him out? The signs of ich on his body are almost completely gone except for this new problem. All the fish in the tank are fine except for him now.

Many times cloudy eyes coincide w/ body parasites esp in marine flukes. Granted this is f/w but there are still many similarities. I would continue to treat the external parasites and maintain stellar water quality

tyvm i will continue to do so. I worry so much about him he was my first baby in this tank. Have had him for over 2 and a half years now. How often should I change the water during this healing process? Ive added aquarium salt too with my water change should i continue to do that too? Im also doing the ich treatement like the bottle says every 12 hours

Typically many treatments require that you do NOT do w/c during the course of treatment. You said you are using rid ich? You could try a more aggresive med if you like or just ride this one out.
Did you take the carbon out of the filter?

I did take the carbon out of the filter. As a matter of fact i just grabbed a new filter bag and used it by its self instead of adding the carbon like i normally do. To atleast keep the floatys and crap out of the water. Thank you for your help today youve calmed me down a bit i feel better about the situation.

Update:

Today only seems worse. Mr fish not only has swollen eyes but now the front of his face seems to be swelling and there is a big bump underneath one of his gills. Hes constantly opening his mouth. what is going on
