Hello,
my fish are all facing death, their lips are like becoming white and their fins and tails are deteriorating and then eventually die.
I hope that you will help me,
thanks in advance!

Re: I have a really bad problem
Welcome Monocore. I am so sorry to here of your problems. Sounds really bad. Please help us out by giving us some more info. I would hate to try and provide any possible solution without more info..could make matters worse. So, if you can please help me help you.
What size is your tank?
What kind, and how many fish do you have?
What kind of filtration?
Is your tank cycled? How long has it been set up?
What are your water parameters?
Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte, ph, etc?
Are your fish still eating?
Are they swimming funny?
If I had to guess I would say (if you have Angels especially) that you are dealing with Columnaris which is a bacterial infection and contagious. You can always do a large water change and IMO I would raise the temp some in your tank. This bacteria prefers a cooler tank. Usually, this bacteria does not effect healthy livestock. If this does not seem to help then as a last resort I would use Tetracycline/Maracyn TC.
Please get back to us so we can help you figure out what this might be. Pictures always help to identify a disease. Sorry Monocore. Hang in there and get us some info and we'll go from there.

Re: I have a really bad problem
thanks for your reply, you have to keep in mind that i'm a begginer.
my tank has 128litres of water, I have guppies and mollies but only the guppies are dying the mollies are ok. It has been setup for 6weeks now and we only put bacteria in it one time and the filtration is internal. This fish are eating normally and they swim normally too.
test results are:
PH: 8
GH: 16
NO2: 0.3mg/L
thanks again for your patience

Re: I have a really bad problem
Ok, your tank has probably not finished cycling. If your Nitrites are at 0.3 then Nitrates should begin to rise. Until that happens and you get a reading of 0 for Ammonia and Nitrates I don't believe your tank is done.
How often do you change the media in your filter? How often have you done water changes?
It's ok to be new, nothing to apologize for. We were all new once and you are learning as we all did. I promise you I have made many mistakes along the way. As I said, hang in there and don't get discouraged, this is a great hobby and very rewarding too!

Re: I have a really bad problem
Hello Monocore, and welcome to FTF.
If my math is correct, then your tank should be around 30 or so (US) gallons. If you could provide us with a little more information, I feel certain we could assist you better.
The number and type of each species of fish would be needed.
Also, regarding cycling, if you could tell us the readings of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate that will reveal how close to being cycled your tank actually is.
Although there seems to be somewhat differences of opinion in this hobby as to the compatibility of mollies and guppies, I do know that mollies prefer somewhat "hard" water and slightly "brackish" and guppies can tolorate a degree of salt. I've been told that baloon mollies do well with guppies while sailfin mollies will grow too big to co-exist. But I think this is a problem that can be addressed further down the road.
I am suspecting your "guppies fatalities" can be attributed to the water conditions, i.e. ammonia present (assumming you are not noticing any actual physical damage). But your test results can confirm this more easily.
If you can get back to us with the requested info, I'm sure we can set you on a straight course of action.
In the meantime, a 25-30% water change can't hurt.
Let us know and we will help and coach you every step of the way.
Hang tight.
Bob

Re: I have a really bad problem
Could it be fin rot? Some pics would definitely help.
+1 for the water change.
