55 gal f/w tank...............grrrrr at my own self.

One of my fish looks like he has been rolled in salt. The rest of the cichlids look like they have been sprinkled with salt.
I started the temp and salt thing yesterday morning as soon as I took a close look at the fish. Temp is 78 degrees today and 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt for every gall of water mixed and heated with therm and power head. What a mess.
Ive been adding the salt mixture 1/2 gal per hour yesterday and today. Im thinking temp will be up to 80 tomorrow. Last of salt water mix will go in tank this eve.
Fish are much more active in the tank this eve.
Im trying for 82 degrees.
When do I do a w/c?
Contagious? meaning everything that coming in contact with the water will have ich on it? I cleaned the phyton with bleach h2o yesterday after w/c.
Now I sit and wait so to speak?
