The feeding of peas?

At the time this post was written i had 3 guppies 2 female bettas and 1 rainbow fish. there diet consits of onlly tetra flakes but i recentley had a bad case of ick and treated it properly with the medication called ick away.

Know that i just barely got through that hurtel i thought to my self if i gave my fishs a more varied diet they probably wouldnt get sick so often so i did a little research on my fish and there all omnivores so i looked in my mom's kitchen and saw some hursts green split peas.so i smuggled them in fear that my mom would put it in the giant soup tonight .So i found this website and decided to become a member so i could ask you the viewer (yes you the one with the hand on the mouse ) if i could feed them to my fish and how to feed them to my fish if i can without getting couht.

unfortunetly you didnt put infants in your poll, so i wont bother to answer

im not a genious with food or anything but i couldnt really see a green vegestable hurting a fish. fish survived for millions of years without fish flakes, but just to make sure dont got dropping them in untill you get a second opinion

Peas are very good for flushing out the intestinal tract of fish, just make sure they are fresh or froze variety, do not used canned peas, or dried peas. You will also have to remove the skin before feeding them to your fish. I did not vote as well because I use all of those.

I did not vote either...

I use several types flakes
Brine Shrimp and Worms
Several types of sinking pellets
Vegetables etc.

Aquarium Fish require a varied diet for health.

yeah, I have a mix of several foods.

flakes,
black worms
pellets
various other larvae's and things
spinich, banannas (when I had clown loaches), other greens.
