What kind of filtaration are you using on your tank?, becuse i am planning on seting up a nano reef as well. You can read about the specs for the tank i might buy in one of the othor threads called- "Dream of a nano postponed till info gained" I still think that tank is awsome!!!!!!!!

P.S. where did you get your livestock from it looks great?

Right now i have a hob filter and about 26 pounds of life rock. Which I am learning that helps with filtration. Half my substratecame from a tank that was set up for about 8 yrs so it had quite a bit of biologicals in it to. I have been doing reserch into a refugium for this tank. but for know the hob seems to be doing its job.

Hi,
Yes I just installed one of those Fission nano skimmers yesterday and am waiting to see results. My tank is a 32Gal (i beleive) 30X12X20". hope the skimmer works as in Canada I paid 70 dollars for it!

HI grampa I'll let you on on a couple of things so your not disapointed. and so your might start out better then me. You might already know this but there is a lever on the power head with my tank i had to turn that all the way down. And where the water is comming out of the power head is a knob that is very tight that you will need to turn. It has something to do with the air supply. Finally It is acting like a skimmer but weather or not it works well i dont know yet. I have nothing to compare it to. Hope this helps ya And good luck.
