cheap, fast-growing stems

I saw in one of the stickies the need to pack it full of fast-growing plants. Where can one get a bunch of cheap, fast-growing plant stems?

Try one of the big box pet supply stores. I see them all the time. Ludwigia and Hydrophila Difformis are two that should be easy to find.

Come around to my place, I just pruned my tank and have heaps of ambulia stems just sitting in a bucket! Can't bear to throw them out but can't keep them either!
