I certainly am not going to agrue with Greg Morin
I have always used Flourish at about 2x (arrived at this dose in consultation with many other planted tank folks, and from some research) therefore I do not use the Flourish Trace. I read the FAQ and it does hint that the trace product eliminates the need to use more Flourish.
Anyhow...I have dosed 15ml of Flourish 3 times a week for years with great success. Your Mileage May Vary
No IMO the trace amount of Cu in Flourish will not harm your inverts.
According to my water companies analysis I have sufficient Iron in my tap water and Fluorite substrate that I do not dose Iron. Granted it is not a chelated mixture like Seachem's Iron, but even with some experimenting in dosing it I really have never seen much of a difference in MY tank.
That said..I was sitting and critically looking at my plants last night and observed that they were just not quite "crispy, green and vibrant"; I know they can look better, ya know what I mean? I'm going to dose chelated iron for two weeks and see where that goes.
The plants will let you know
