Hello again fellow fish fanatics!
First, let me say that I realize that I could probably research my question in order to get an answer...but what fun would that be?!?!?!?!? I also have a strong feeling that this is a pretty common plant so if this sounds like I am completely clueless, that is only because I really am clueless, for the most part.
Anyways, here is some background information:
So, I basically just started a new adventure within the 'planted tank' side of this hobby, but I haven't enjoyed all that much success...yet. That said, my lack of success is so severe from time to time that I have removed a few plants in my display tank, which I stored for a short time in my 10 gallon Endler tank. At this time, there is only one plant left in the 10 gallon...or I should really say that there is only one plant in the 10 that was originally in my display tank.
However, I recently noticed the plant in the photos below growing in the 10 gallon, attached to a fake plant (which I find somewhat ironic). While I have to say that I really think the plant below is really cool, I would still like to ID it so that I know what I am really faced with. So, obviously I am wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what this is:
NOTE: In case it makes a difference, my 10 gallon tank has only a 15 watt florescent hood lamp over it and I have never added any supplements or nutrients to this tank

^and like I said, it is attached to a fake plant (the red one...if you couldn't tell).
Lastly, I am 110% sure that this is a 'real' live plant since I have never purchased or even looked at a similar fake plant.
So, any ideas for me? Thanks in advance for your help!
