| Where to buy life rock/sand A few people have mentioned where to buy the rock and sand. I cant find the articles.
Im glad to see I dont have to have a huge amount of sand. local lfs rock is $11.00 a pound, that seems like a lot of money, they just started culturing it last week, so maybe I wont have to pay that much. RO water comes tomorrow. Im getting tank and equipment today.
Its getting exciting now

| Re: Where to buy life rock/sand Hi Orb. $11 per pound seems a little high to me. I bought most of mine from Premium Aquatics and I paid 5 something a pound for Fiji Premium cured, it was hand picked and excellently packaged. I had little or no die off. I would definitely buy from them again. I bought some of the Tonga pieces from my lfs and it was only 4.99 per pound. I would sure shop around and compare.

| Re: Where to buy life rock/sand I definitely wouldn't trust a guy that is trying to sell Live Rock that has been "cultured" for only a week or two - especially of $11/lb. I think that's the most expensive I've ever heard of.
On everything else I agree with the other posts.
