| Added New Fish??????????? I just added a Purple pseudochromis and a Blue Damsel, was this a good idea, it seems like the blue damsel is alittle aggresive towards the purple pseudochromis. It does not bother the clownfish. Is there anything else I could put with the clowns and the purple. I would like to add some more color.....Thanks Rocky

| Re: Added New Fish??????????? Damsels are very aggressive fish. Even more so when they get bigger as they become incredibly territorial.
Some other fish you could replace the damsel with that are colorful
purple firefish
firefish
maybe a wrasse? the link below was narrowed to only contain wrasse's that are peaceful with a tank your size. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/a...num=1&count=24

| Re: Added New Fish??????????? First, you should have used the fish compatibility chart I posted or inquired here first. The blue damsel is also called the blue devil and for good reason. It will more than likely be trouble. |

| Re: Added New Fish??????????? You may regret putting the damsel in... They are not exactly community friendly. Especially with non aggressive tankmates. (IMO) I'd remove him as quickly as possible. Meadowsky suggested a good colorfull replacement. Check out the purple firefish, they are really hardy and energetic.--->CBR

| Re: Added New Fish??????????? for future reference here is a handy dandy little chart I know that sometimes you go to the LFS and just HAVE to buy something. I usually try to take a book along or atleast an idea of what will work well with the fish I have already. http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/c...lity_chart.cfm

| Re: Added New Fish??????????? Yes, that is the chart I had posted a while back. Also, a couple fish I have that add color and a great personality to the tank are; Carpenter Wrasse and Royal Gramma. |
