I have a Koralia 3 and a fluval 205....right now I can't think how many gallons an hour that is, but the Koralia 3 sure started moving a lot of water! I don't know about the protein skimmer, but water is moving through there, too. It just doesn't make much of a current.

by the way Welcome to the forum! do you have a tank? what kind?

got some new lights fragged a coral moved some stuff around now that I have good lights all the way across! new starfish to start cleaning the sand...and had to get some new snails to start eating the algae! LOL the lights sure did pop the colors!

Thanks! I had to tell my husband again that he gave me an awesome present when he got me the brand new aquarium. he takes quite an interest in it now, too. it is definitely the focal point of the living room now

I had to wait a long time for my birthday! the lights are really making the difference....just got a good deal on a new bucket of salt ($49for 50 lbs) plus a clear out of Red Sea salt 14 lbs for 1.50 !!! cleaned my protein skimmer really well last weekend and it is working a LOT better now. nitrates are still a battle for me...they were stuck at 10 for a long time, but today they are 2.5! yeah! maybe I will hit zero again next week...the fish are playing a lot more with the better water, I've noticed.
