| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons Where you write your reply message there is a picture of a mountain just to the right of where you can change the font. Click it and copy and paste the link from photobucket into the box that comes up.

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons Every time I do that, I just get the little red x no matter which link I use...very frustrating...I see other people using photobucket and I can't get it to work for me! I have tried all the links....same result.

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons That's not a skunk! That's Lucky Dog's tail! She was feeling left out of the whole aquarium thing she's a black and white border collie and as my niece pointed out, "you can play with her and pick her up!" can't do that with fish

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons ok, I may be in trouble here....bought a superskimmer from coralife and I am having trouble figuring out how it sets up. If anyone is using one, could you post a picture? I tried to put the whole thing in the tank! after reading the book, I think I have the cylinder mounted correctly. I just don't know how the pump is supposed to go...thanks!!!!

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons New Pictures....still have to use an attachment...can't get photobucket to work. I even resized the picture so that it would not be too much data....oh, well!
I have rearranged the rock! YEAH! that was a job! then I sat down again with the skimmer directions and I have it working
QUESTION!!! It's in the breaking in stage, does that mean it's ok for no bubbles to be showing up yet? I have the water level adjusted and everything is flowing without leaks. TIA!!
Also, ph 7.9 Alk normal Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates 10 clean up crew added....put them in last night, and so far I have seen 5 of the snails this morning, but only about 2 of the crabs. I got 3 blue legs and 3 red legs. One of the blue legs got killed on the ride home...I actually saw it happen....no mercy!

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons ok, fixed the level of the pump, I know this is the breaking in stage, but is it OK for there to be NO action in the skimmer cup? There are bubbles coming out the outflow, but none in the cylinder. Directions say turn valve to 1/2 on for first 24-72 hours.
oh, and I opened my fluval the wrong way, got distracted....another "learning by discovery" event... I bet I don't make that mistake again!
seems like I am doing this the hard way as often as not....

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons Hey,
I wouldn't expect any bubbles for a day or two. Be patient, it will come....
My in-sump took about 2 weeks to really get going....

| Re: 20 to 55 Gallons Thanks for the answer! I keep going over there to check; no bubbles...and try to assure my husband that nothing is broke....LOL (yes, honey, I'm sure it was worth it to spend all that money...*fingers crossed*)
it's always a waiting game, isn't it? after waiting for more than two months to get the skimmer, I wanted to see junk come out TODAY!
