salt water help......

Im going to turn my twenty gallon tank into a reef tank but how much live rock and sand do i need? hers what im going to ad to it. two small power heads on a timer like a wave maker, a 125 gph bio-wheel filter, lighting is a coral bulb and a reef bulb so that they will get the regular sun light and the blue light, i have the fish i want and they are just a few small blennies a scooter or something and the rest are invertabrays, one or two fire shrimp and thats all. And I have a friend that mixes his own salt water from pure RO water so thats not a problem. So help me out a little and if you like to add or take a few things out tell me so that I get this right

Some of this is personal taste. ALso I have only set up one salt tank although I am reading a ton on it. I would think you want about 2 pounds LS per gallon. I would also think about 1 pound LR per gallon. You can alter theose and trade them off if you like. Although I think the deeper sand bed looks better and provides a better platform.

I would go with 4 inchs of sand and 1-2lbs of rock per gal. You may want to think about getting a nano-skimmer. If you are going reef I would recomend Coarls by Eric Bourneman
