| Coral Beauty Angelfish I got my first fish today finally!! Its been 7 weeks of torture to say the least! I got a coral beauty today! Absolutely a beautiful fish! Already grazing on some algae, and the acclimation was a bit over kill at 2 hrs but I wanted to make sure nothing went wrong.
I wanted to put her in my hospital tank. But today when I got home my heater went in my HT. Thats what I get for a $7 heater! Lesson learned!! So I was hesitant on directly puting her in my main tank. Had no choice once I got home with the fish and no HT. No visible inperfections with her. Here is a picture or two if I can figure out how to post a single pic!!! lol
One question. Today I picked up Formula 1 and 2, and Angel formula. How much food should I be feeding?? and Ill probaly feed once daily! And should it be given frozen or thawd out? Thanks!

| Re: Coral Beauty Angelfish Nice specimen. I feed my coral beauty twice a day (pellets in the morning and shrimp/algae mix in the evening) and leave a 2x3 strip of green or brown algea (alternating each day) in my clip so he can graze all he wants. I do thawd out my frozen algae before feeding. |

| Re: Coral Beauty Angelfish I have had one for almost 3 years and it is a beautiful fish. For the food, I would use a 1/2 cube if you are planning on feeding daily, if that is the only fish in the tank. I use a cup of tank water to thaw out my frozen foods so I can just pour the water and food directly into the tank at feeding time. Looking forward of some pics of your new addition, Congrats!!

| Re: Coral Beauty Angelfish Today is day three and my angel still wont eat any formula 1 or 2! Should I be worried?? She does nip a lot at all the rock in there. Will she eat when she wants too???
Those hermits sure can smell it when I drop it in there. They all head right for it hoping to get some before the big guy comes and fights them all for everything. Awesome. Thanks

| Re: Coral Beauty Angelfish Today I feed formula 1 and 2, thaw in cup of tank water and added 1 drop od garlic extract, and she knows its there and then turns away and does not eat. I also put a piece of macro in there from ocean nut. She didnt touch it yesterday and I replace it today with a new piece.
Should I maybe try live food, even though I am feeding her the same stuff as my lfs. Or should I wait a couple of more days and see if she eats??
I know she constantly picks on my LR. Now that I have that refugium up and running, I seem to have a ton of pods of all sorts in my tank. My HOB filter is infested with pods. So is my display tank. Thanks
