Nano Cube--Water Flow

I have recently setup my first marine aquarium. I bought a 24g Nano Cube and have just added some clowns. My question is the pump seems to push the water out of the directional nozzle at a real high speed. The clowns seem to be fighting with the current constantly. They never graze around the tank like I am assuming they should. All the live rock has been established and dont believe should be moved in order to break the current a little bit. Does anyone have any suggestions aside from buying more rock or a new pump (this college student is broke). Thanks

My rock etc. may be positioned differently but I do not see too high a flow rate in my tank. Salt tends to want a bit higher flow than fresh water. In fact I have/am considering adding some power heads to get specific flows to an area. That said my nano cube had a number of flaps on the intake side of the pump area that could be closed which would reduce the flow rate considerably. I also had a problem where the bio beads and/or charcoal kept getting stuck in the intake of the pump which again limited the flow dramatically. I would think either of these approaches would work

I dont think I have any flaps to control the flow (kinda stinks)

I actually have the aquapod cube so maybe it is a bit different. I would still be surprised if it was too much current for most fish. If you really find the current is too high then I would physically obstruct the flow in some manner and see what happens

Thanks for everyones input. It just seemed like the poor guys were wearing themselves out. I drilled a couple holes in the nozzle to dissipate a little energy and that seems to be working a bit although they are still generally swimming in one direction against the current.
