How many powerheads for a 30 gallon tank?

Hi, everyone! I'm new to the boards. I currently have a 10 gallon brackish aquarium but I am going to buy a 30 gallon for saltwater fish. My question is "How many powerheads should I have for a 30 gallon?" Also PetsMart has a Seaclone protein skimmer for $79.99, is this a good skimmer? For the filter I am buying a Filstar XM1 canister.

I too have a thirty gallon SW and currently use two powerheads. I just ordered another one that rotates from side to side, but it has not arrived yet. Some of it will depend on what you plan to put in your tank-I have mushrooms and polyps, which have low to moderate water movement demands.

As far as the skimmer goes, I just bought the Bak Pac 2R+ ("reef ready and safe"). In doing my research, I sort of leared away from the SeaClones based on customer ratings. If you "google" the skimmer, you can find what other people are saying about it. I have heard of a few people who have been very happy with their SeaClones though.

I have two powerheads in my 30 gallon tank. I just ordered a Coralife Super Skimmer. Things seem fine.

I have 4 powerheads total and a XP3 on mine . Check out Rio powerheads they sound like a good product/deal. I have a seaclone it`s okay,I have heard great things on the Bak-Pacs.
