i finally got my 7ft tank going. i only had to spend 5 hours making this guy a bar in his house and now heres the result of my hard work and i believe well worth it. and my turtle loves the new big tank. he has so much more room now
the 2 big black fish came with it. i dont even know what they are i have to look them up. im not even sure my final plans with it yet. the guy told me he was going to keep the fish. but his tank was only a 75 long so he couldnt house the 2 big ones,he kept the rest. so i kinda had to set it up and clean it as soon as i got home to get the fish back in it. so im still looking and thinking abuot my grand plans. got any suggestions? i know i need more rocks its only got 50 pounds so far and its a 210 gallon tank lol
from what I see there is a redbelly pacu, a black pacu, a convict cichlid, red devil cichlid and a red ear slider turtle.I forgot the yellow lab cichlid.
yeah I thought they looked like piranahs when i saw them! They are not on our import lists here in australia so wasn't so sure.
As for your grand plans they are yours and yours alone! There are heaps of things you can do with a tank that size, but you have to do what you want with it, your the one who has to look at it, and clean it!

i jsut looked them all up i think your right on . what do the reds eat? i jsut fed them ciclids sticks and dried shrimp for the turtle and they ran 2 the shrimp but when close they left it alone. and how exacty is the best way to feed them all in this big tank. they usually eat everything i fed them in the 40 tall tank. but this tank the food jsut kinda got across the tank away from them and none of the fish sees it. so i just feed them so much then pul out the rest in a few minutes?
The sticks and shrimp will be fine I think you should get one of these ( http://www.pets-warehouse.com/pic-a/AON25102.JPG) and clip the food on it so they can see it it worked when I had oscars. They mainly use them for seeweed but they pretty much work for any food except for flakes They sell them at most pet stores. You migth want to get multiple ones and put them through out your tank and just put the desiered amount of food on them.
