Goldfish swims upside down

Unhappy Goldfish swims upside down

One of our fancy goldfish swims upside down. It will be just fine for awhile but then it will turn upside down. Does anyone know what causes this?

Sounds like your goldfish might have some swim bladder problems.

He may have bloat.

Is his tummy all puffed up? It could be a blockage of his intestine. They make medication that will help and I would vary his food to help him pass the blockage.
