| Re: Convict Eggs :D YAY! Hard to tell how your convicts will react to the others. Everytime someone posts a question like this, we can only respond according to the fish's known behaviour.
Sometimes the fish can surprise us all by acting completely opposite from the way we think they may behave. A lot of explanation about how they might behave relies on how secure the fish feel they are, and how secure they think their spawning site is.
The more they feel threatened, the more aggressive they will be.
Most convicts are quite fiesty once they have bred and are protecting their eggs / fry. They will make life for your other fish (even fish much bigger than themselves) VERY uncomfortable.
Just to be safe, I would suggest either removing your other fish (sorry) or seperating them from your convicts with a tank divider.
Just keep on eye on them to see if any aggression breaks out. If it does, then my suggestion (above) might help. |
