Hey pop!

Those are some great lookin' pieces of driftwood. You can put together some interesting scenery with those. I think they would really make a planted tank 'pop' nicely by adding a forested feel. Maybe an Easter Island Head Statue, or a totum to give it a tribal look.

I figured since they have to soak for Months... I better get them started.

My wife (SHE IS THE BOSS) has approved me getting a 55 gal. set up Early Christmas Present. I have started the soak/cleaning process of the drift wood and rock. I will start the tank on a fishless/planted cycle around
Nov. 1st.

Things should be going well in the tank cycle by Christmas and my wood/rock should be ready about the same time.

I have learned the hard way, now I want to do it from the start correctly. You and Jay have and will continue to be a BIG help!

What brand and type filter system and other equipment do yall recommend for a Planted/Natural Tropical Eco-System? (Budget Plan but still be quality)

As far as your filter goes I would suggest much the same along the lines as Jays. The Rena Fillstar 3 is a good filter and should serve you well. My boss uses this exact same filter on his FO SW tank and its a powerhouse. Only better name out there in cann filters as far as my opinion goes is Eheim.

Thanks Guys, I will getting into more detail with yall as time goes. I will check out the Rena Fillstar 3, I have no experience with any filter except this little back of tank thing that came with my WalMart 20 gal set up. I know I know you do not have to say a thing Ha!

Jay, I will get back with you on the info on the drift wood.( I need to measure them all). The one you mentioned is the smaller of all my pieces but by far the most exotic. My largest piece is Little over 2ft in long.

YES! a Trade will be done. I can not fit it all in one tank anyway

If the pieces you mentioned are what you want once I give you more detail I will arrange to send them to you and when I am up and running maybe you can send me some Plant Cuttings with directions

Hey Jay,
The pieces you mentioned are actually DRIFT4.JPG DRIFT5 AND DRIFT6.JPG are just a different viewof same piece Sorry if that was misleading. It is SMALL piece...8" long by about 5"-6" wide total. ( I wish is was a large piece) It is my favorite but It is yours if you want it. Most the others are larger pieces. I will PM you the other pieces info, later, Pop's
