| If you have a male Betta I wouldn't suggest putting it with any other fish, as they can be aggressive.
If it's a female Betta it may be better idea, as they aren't as aggressive. But I have hear than tetras can be fin nippers. |

| Not a good idea, at all. Bettas are a solitary fish, and are happiest left alone. They are fighting fish, and that is what they do if their territory is invaded. More than likely if you even hold another fish to the tank, the betta will flare up ready to fight. |

| Yes, that is very true. I read on a Betta website that you can put a mirror up to the tank and the fish will start flaring thinking it's another Betta. I haven't done that myself, as I think that's kinda mean. But they suggested it, so that it would be so lonely or something like that. |

| I would have to agree with sniper on this one. In my experience Bettas are only aggressive towards other Bettas. I would definately not try to house two in one tank unless it is more than 150 gallons with plenty of space for them to have their own territory, and maybe not even then. But I have personally had, and have seen others house Bettas in their community tanks and have them live peacefully. My own even lived right alongside other smaller fish like my clown gobies and he never even flinched towards any of his tankmates - including my two tetras. I would say give it a shot, keep an eye on them, and seperate them if you see any signs of aggression after a day or so. Or if the Betta immeadiately attacks anything in the tank, then go ahead and take him out, but I think you should be OK. |

| I also agree that you can put other types in with a betta male, just not another betta. Females can be housed together but they still may fight. You have to watch them. I have seen african dwarf frogs with a betta also. |

| I am afraid I haven't any idea who or what you're talking about...
