| Planning ahead? I am trying to think this through, I have a single tank, freshwater, 65 gallons which is located in my main living area on the carpet. I fore see my wife wanting to replace the carpet sometime down the road. The Glass tank sits on a hardwood stand/cabinet. I know the tank is suppose to be empty prior to moving. But wondering if anyone has ever done this and may have some advice? I visualize emptying it down to about 6 inches of water left in the tank, carefully moving the whole cabinet with the tank on the stand a short distance, then add 10 gallons of saved water in two - 5 gallon water containers back in while carpet is being installed, maybe run a power head. Drain, ten gallons back out, move back and fill up. Looking for tips, suggestions, any words of advice.
