Hey Guys,

I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 Neon Tetras, 2 Dianos, and in the next week or two....two dwarf frogs and a betta.

I talked to my local aquarium guy and he said the numbers are fine for a 10 gallon I just have to keep up my water changes etc....

But how do I feed a tank with 4 different species?

I want to make sure the betta gets his pellets, the frogs get their frozen bloodworms, and the fish get their flakes...

How do I go about this?

In a situation like this you will find that all of the fish including the frog will eat each of the foods mentioned. If you feed each food expecting a specific fish to eat it you will definately over feed your fish.

I have a theory that has worked for my tanks of all sizes and shapes for years on end.

"Happy, Hungry, Healthy Fish are better than Fat, Full Dead Fish".

That "As much as they can eat in 5 minutes twice a day" is by feed manufacturers and not by any means the rule of thumb in my opinion. I have had fresh and salt water fish alike live in my tanks for as much as 13 years.
Yes, It is enjoyable to watch the fish eat, but be very careful not to overfeed.
