| The perfect soup! Since Ive started my tank I have been using RO water (due to complications in my house tap water) and before I fill my tank back up after a water change, I add my cichlid liquid chemistry into the buckets of which is holding my RO water. On the bottle it says to add 5 to 25ml of liquid chem. for every 10g added to the tank. As for me, I do a 10g w/c every week and I go ahead and add 25ml. My question is, do you think that there is a sig. difference btw 20ml to 25ml. Or lets even say, 5ml to 25ml. Why is there such a wide range for every 10g? So far, I just go with 25ml and everything has been working out just fine, but would it hurt at all to lower the ml a bit so my bottle can last a bit longer? Also, what would happen if 25ml was too much and I just didnt notice any signs? I mean, I havent seen anything to my eyes that seem to be an issue with adding 25ml a week, such as no excess algae growth in the tank.
