Some advice on my new set up

Diatom filters look pricey to me. freq w/c and brush the brown stuff off the stuff in the tank worked wonders for my 10 gal tank awhile back. I wasnt taking as good a care of it as I should have been. JMO as always.

Well the UV sterilizer has been running about a week now. All the green is gone and I have just done my second sizable water change this week. Both were probably 30+ gals. I may need to let things settle, but the water actually looks more cloudy after the water change. It is all whitish. I do not know if it just my water or something else going on. All the normal test are great before the water change so and all the fish are extreemly active and doing well. Just not sure why the water looks as it does. Atleast it is not green any more.

After the water settled it is pretty clear. I am happy with the job the UV Sterilizer has done and would recomend it to anyone. For the money, I am really happy with the results. I figured I would post a few pics, but it does not seem to want me to. I just get a warning error message every time I try?
