Setup 120g (planted)

Hey guys i have had my tank running for about 2 years now, however now i have decided i want to start putting live plants in it. I have given my fish to my brother so i can start a fresh.

Price is not really an issue

Filter
I was thinking of going for the Eheim Pro 3 2080 as a filter. Anyone got any other good suggestions that i could use?

Lighting
Havent decided on lighting at the moment this is what i need most help on. What would you guys suggest for a planted tank

Substrate

I have a good injection co2 system at the moment and not looking to change it so thats all set.

The first thing to do is sit down, find out as much as you can about planted tanks and then map out exactly what you want. High light/high tech or low light/low tech?
I have no experience of the substrate you say about but a good substrate would benefit the plants, depending on what you want.
Less than 2wpg is going to be low light etc. but there are plenty of plants the thrive in this light.
The higher light you go then the more work it is going to be as higher lighting=c02=ferts=more maintenance etc.
