Hello, my name is Matt and I recently just got a fish tank from my friend. It is a 2 and a half gallon tank shaped like a hexagon. The filter is built into the bottom of the tank. My questions are does anyone know who made my tank, cause I need to replace the filter. I also took the filter apart and it looks really old, I took some pictures. I don't know what to replace in my filter, if I can replace anything at all. I might just have to get a new filter. Thanks for your help.

I am sorry I have honestly never seen anything like that and i thought I have seen it all it must be old It kind of looks custom made to me.Well you should just look in to a new filter with a tank that small it will not set you back much.

The part in the bottom is not a filter, but an airpump. You might be able to buy one small enough to fit in its place. I doubt you will be able to find a new one.
