PPAAUULLRe: Fish pictures
Hey gm do you mind telling the camera setup? Like What lens, filters, Manual/automatic, lighting. I am interested in photography and I just wondered how your camera is setup to get these great looking photos.

Not a problem.
On these shots I had the camera set to manual, The ISO is set as low as my camera will allow at 200. Anything higher just makes the images grainy. The shutter speed for these pics were set at 1/500 sec. The aperature was set at f10. The focal length varied for each pic, but the closer to the tank the better.
The lens is a Nikor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, I also have a uv silter on it as well.
The key to getting the crispness with the settings is using an overhead flash. I have a speedlight that I use with a connecting shoe cable. It flashes light from overhead which in turn gives depth to the subject being photographed. when you use a flash from the side it reflects off the fish and does not allow the crispness of the subject, not to mention you usually end up with alot of overexposure on the fish with this method. Hope this helps. What camera are you using?
