Hold Fast

Just a FYI. This stuff works great just as it says! A took a small piece and kneaded it for a few. It turns white and then I stuck it in the water and pushed it into the big rock, took the frag with Xenia on it and pushed it down on the epoxy and it is tight. I could not bring myself to use super glue in my tank. I know, I know lots of fishy people do it and it works great but I am overly careful I am sure....

Re: Hold Fast

hmm I saw that product and was wondering if it would work on decor too or is it a perm kind of thing? I have my snail "bulldozer" that is wreaking havoc on my decor and he pulls loose suction cups and tubing.
so know you have usedit I can ask is it final?? or can it be changes later and just has really good stick?
Thanks

Re: Hold Fast

Ya got me Nyrmel. I was more concerned with will it stick or harm my tank buddies. seems pretty solid but I bet I could get it off if I wanted to but that may be because it is rock to rock. I think on the directions it said something about smooth surfaces so you might have to lightly sand to rough up th finish before applying or it might not stick at all. Does that make sense or do I need to clarify? Let me know. I can see if I can find the directions.

hey judge i think nyrmel wants to know if she could use it to stick down her decorations temporally so her snail doesnt destroy her tank. and if she could move it around when she got bored with that setup and rearrange the decorations. atleast thats what i got out of it. i havent use that stuff before but i would think that it wouldnt be use for that use nyrmel. i believe its used for attaching corals to rocks or in judges case rock to rock. if thats not what you meant nyrmel sorry.

Re: Hold Fast

It cures like cement and can even be machined after cured. So I'd say it's pretty much permanent.
