| Censorship? Are my replys be censored, blocked or deleted. I have posted four now and none are showing up. A brief pop up message regarding it being reviewed or something shows briefly and then goes away. What's going on with my replys? |

| Re: Censorship? hlsarge,
I am not sure why you can not see these posts. I looked at the thread you mentioned and I see all four of the posts there just fine. Looks like the first was done yesterday around noon and the last just a little while ago.
While there are some posts with inappropriate comments etc. that will be deleted, most of the moderators would inform you of the issue etc. to make sure it did not happen again. In this case all of these posts appear fine to me. |

| Re: Censorship? Umm, give us a little time on this one, for some reason this thread will not show up on under new posts. I will send Tommy an e-mail and direct him straight to the fluval post. That way he can give you an answer till we figure out what is going on. Also have you been warned from one of the moderators? I am positive you have not been, but will chack to make sure? |

| Re: Censorship? I have not been contacted about a problem with any my comments.
I do not see any of the four replys that I posted regarding the Fluval 405 thread. When I click on my user name hlsarge and go look at all my threads, there is nothing there either. I still don't see them. I assume from the replys above, that some one can see them. Am I doing something wrong? Highly probable since I'm new to this forum. |

| Re: Censorship? Why am I seeing the pop up about my reply not being posted until it has been reviewed by a moderator? Are all my replys stuck in a queue waiting to be reviewed? |

| Re: Censorship? Good cath GM. I see it in the thread but not under new posts either.
I should also clarify my comments regarding inappropriate posts. I was ion no way suggesting that these or any of your posts where in that category. I was really responding to the more general topic of censorship. In some cases such as abusive or threatening language a moderator would intervene and "censor" a post if it was considered offensive but they would warn the poster at that time as well. I think it follows the basic concept of free speech which also has a few limits like preventing people from yelling fire in a crowded building. |

| Re: Censorship? I can see all of his posts, and there appears to be no moderation. The thread is however six months old. I wonder if the Hack screwed up something.

| Re: Censorship? For some reason or another your posts in this area are being flagged for approval. Be patient we will get this straightened out eventually. It was not done by anyone on this moderating team. My best guess is it is a glitch in the system from the hacker. |

| Re: Censorship? hlsarge,
You, and every member for that matter, have my word that you are not being censored. I believe GM and Jay are right...this is an old setting that was set in place when this area was added to the forum (which wasn't that long ago) to help make sure that the purpose wasn't confused with the saltwater and freshwater setup sub-forums and that setting was probably reset after the hacker issue. You can also be sure that this isn't anything that affects only you. |
