| Re: Test Kits I used the API for a long time till I kept getting inaccurate readings(figured out the test kit was over 2 yrs old) After that I switched to Tetra Test. Its a little more work to get a reading, and the nitrate is not included with the master kit, but all in all I have found it to suite my needs a little better. Not to mention it doesnt come with glass tubes that have a tendency to break in the sink if not put up right away.
I cannot tell you how the ph test is in this kit as I always use an electronic ph meter.
I also find that matching colors is alot easier than API, I dont have to second guess the color by finding another lighting source.
All in all I would buy the Tetra again. |
