| Poor Iron Readings
I am using Flourish products in my African cichlid fresh water aquarium. I am using both the tabs which contain and the addition to the water with liquid Fe fortification.
My tank water is changed every week at 40%. The pH is 8.4 and the hardness ranges between 300 and 400 ppm. I cannot get an iron reading on my Hagen Fe test kit and I am adding a great deal of the liquid FE to the water. Why is this happening?
I am getting a good reading at much lower doses of the liquid in my discus tank which is kept at 120 ppm hardness and 7.0 pH
