Nano Cube Problem... can anyone help with the fog?!?!

I purchased a 10-12 Gallon nano cube back in late october / early november. For the first couple weeks I had crystal clear water... I do normal water changes and put in all the chemicals I'm told I'm told I'm supposed to. yada yada yada.... but my water has never been clear since two weeks after I bought it. I've tried everything from more chemicals, to less often feeding, to Expensive bottled water, distilled water, purified water... My chem levels are normal... Nothing works. Can someone help me? Is it possible i have a defective tank? Am I doing something wrong? I feel bad for my poor little guys and long to help them.. please help me save my fish!

Not familiar with Nano Cubes, but your water problems could be from several different things. Please be careful about making all of these changes to the water. Changing ANYTHING in the water, including the type of water you use, can cause stress to the fish. Any changes should be done gradually to give the fish a chance to adjust. Befiore offer too many opinions I think we need a few more facts and some general information. Can you give a brief history of the tank, when it started, what is in it in terms of substrate, water type, fish, other living creatures, plants etc. You mentions putting in the chemical

you should but do not say what specific chemicals are involved. It would also be nice to know the specific water parameters including at least: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, hardness, pH, and alkalinity. You alsdo mention differnt sources of water so underastanding that a bit better would be helpful. And lastly what type of maintenance routine if any have you been following.

Sorry for so many questions but they all contribute significantly to the condition of the water and tank overall.
