I am new and i just posted a thread in introductions that explains alot too.
I have a 46 gallon bow front with a LM Bass and an Oscar. No live plants and gravel bottom....large gravel. I am using a whiper 40 power filter.

I did a large water change about 50% a week ago and now my water is so cloudy i cant see through it. I also cleaned the gravel for the first time (it was bad) within hours the water truned cloudy and quickly got worse. It looks like someone poured a gallon of milk in there. Today i noticed tiny white worms crawling on the glass!!!! What the heck!!

I did a 20% water change and nothing happened and today i did a 10% water change.
What do i need to do ?!?
Should i change the filter?? (i changed it when i did that water change also) Now it has a white/clear slime all over it and the inside of the filter box.
Should i do a water change daily or not??
Will the water clear up??
Should i take the filter out and clean the slime off it?? I dont want to disturb any more bacteria or make things worse....dunno what to do???

I am new to the aquarium world. I recently "inherited" an aquarium complete with two 5-6" oscars, africans, gouramis, and more. This was a 30 gal. Well, I bought a 75 gal because the oscars didn't have enough room. I now have tetras and barbs in the small tank. I changed the water Monday night in both tanks. I am using two 75 gal bio-wheel filters on the 75 gal tank (because of the oscars) and a 50 gal bio-wheel filter on the 30 gal. It is now Wednesday morning, and my tanks are so dirty! You can't see through from one side view to the other! I used the water conditioner recommended by the pet store, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I know I shouldn't be changing water all the time, but it gets so dirty and cloudy in less than two days after a change. I'm new to this, and don't know what to do. What am I doing wrong? HELP!!!
